Finally, it’s FRIDAY! We are going to have a nice breakfast today before work. IMG_8819

Today’s breakfast place.                        IMG_8823

I ordered Gruyere grilled toast, with roasted mixed mushroom & poached eggs, rocket and balsamic glaze.                                         IMG_8830

I am a fan of mushrooms; loving them so much. IMG_8831

Mr. Choi ordered Baked eggs with sourdough toast with bacon. We both think the food was yummy but the toasts were too small and thin. If the toasts were like those of Fandango’s, it would be very good; a big plus to the dish.                   IMG_8832

Punch Lane

Dinner at Punch Lane tonight.           001

With my love ones, Mr. Choi & Mum.                                002

We were surrounded by hundreds of wines; this was just a small part of the collection.004

We ordered the Five Course Tour of the Punch Lane Menu; put ourselves in the chef’s hands. This was the soup before pouring the creamy soup in.                                                             A001

Yummy soup                                              A005

Boneless Chicken Wing with carrots. B001

Snapper Fish combo-ed with some vegetables C003

Delicious beef                                          D002

Dessert No. 1                                             E002

Dessert No. 2                                           E004

Dessert No. 3                                             E009

Although the portion of each dish was quite small, we were quite full at the end. Mainly because it took us 2 hours to finish the course, so we ate very slowly; letting the stomach to feel / digest the food. In between each dish, there was time for us to have some water or drinks, so, eventually, we didn’t need to eat a lot in order to be full.

The quality of the food was very high and the atmosphere was great too. Although the price for the Five Course Tour was little high, it was worthwhile.

Our Lunch today! Yummy!                  IMG_8746

Sliced Hungarian Salami, Bocconcini, Basil Pesto & Rocket on Poppy Seed Bagel $11.00IMG_8730

Both bagels tasted good, although the bagel might look a little small, it was surprisingly fulfilling. We were very full after the bagel, coffee and a 1-2 glasses of water. Like this place!

Quote of the Day:

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Baby Beets & Feta Spread

I have been making this baby beets & feta and ham sandwich for my breakfast this week. I like it. It tastes quite good. Of course, not as yummy and rich as those from Fandango, but good enough for me as the cost is very low; 200g for only $3 bucks. Bread is Lawsons Traditional Grain Bread, my favourite bread brand, mainly due to its good looking package.                                                        IMG_8701

Fries Night

Tuesday is Buy 1 Get 1 Free Special at Lord of the Fries, Mr. Choi would not forget that. So again we brought fries for dinner. This time we decided to try the deluxe sauces. We ordered Italian (Shredded Cheese + Hot Napoli Sauce)IMG_8682

And French Canadian (Shredded Cheese + Hot Gravy).IMG_8684

They were okay, in fact, I think the gravy tasted really so-so. KFC’s gravy is much better than this one. Indian Sauce is still our No.1 sauce which is the spicy mango chutney sour cream sauce.                                             IMG_8685
