Monthly Archives: October 2014

Hello Thursday.

One more day then it’s the weekend! IMG_0547

Breakfast today is Fandango’s sandwich and a cup of strong latte. Fandango has recently raised up the price slightly…               IMG_0551

Quote of the Day:

Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see life with a clearer view again.

Di Bella Breakfast

Got Di Bella breakfast take away this morning. I like Di Bella’s coffee more, a much stronger taste than Fandango’s.                          IMG_0535

Quote of the Day:

Energy is the currency of the universe. When you ‘pay’ attention to something, you buy that experience. So when you allow your consciousness to focus on someone or something that annoys you, you feed it your energy, and it reciprocates the experience of being annoyed. Be selective in your focus because your attention feeds the energy of it and keeps it alive. Not just within you, but in the collective consciousness as well.

Lil Boy Blue III

Brunch at Lil Boy Blue again, happy.001

We were sitting at the back this time, right opposite the toilets to be exact. But it did not reduce my appetite for good food.002

003

We ordered Tazzy Salmon – raw tazzy salmon sliced thin & rubbed w/ yuzu & wasabi, broken pea panna cotta, crispy fennel, finger lime & soy dressing $19.00AUD *it was GOOD*                                                                        004

Crispy soft-shell crab slider w/ wasabi mayo, pickled carrot & coriander $8.00AUD005

Salmon Gravalax w/ avocado & lime puree, crispy polenta discs & salad of tendrils, quinoa & poached egg, sour cream, mustard & dill dressing $22.00AUD006

007

And last but not least, Brioche Bun filled w/ spring mushrooms, spinach w/ garlic & lemon, truffle pecorino $13.00AUD. The meal was delicious! I liked it, though it was a bit pricey.        008

Quote of the Day:

“It’s impossible,” said pride. “It’s risky,” said experience. “It’s pointless,” said reason. “Give it a try,” whispered the HEART.

Paesano International Buffet

I was having lunch at Paesano International Buffet today. The place was quite packed, so I thought the food must be quite delicious. IMG_0412

They have this highlight of you order now and I make for you immediately. It also means you got to wait for awhile in order to have your dish delivered, approx. 15-20mins of waiting.                                                    IMG_0415

I ordered the teppanyaki calamari. This was very tasteful, but the portion was very small, only 4 pieces.                                            IMG_0418

And my mum ordered the pasta and she had to queue and wait for like 20mins or longer. The whole thing made the meal very tiring. Not recommended. IMG_0419

Fandango XIII

I have no idea how many times I’ve been having breakfast at or take away from Fandango. All I can say is MANY MANY TIMES and many many more to come. IMG_0338

My all time favourite: Egg and Bacon Sandwich.  IMG_0341

Quote of the Day:

I hate you, and then I love you. It’s like I want to throw you off a cliff, then rush to the bottom to catch you.

Jam & Cream

Trying new place today.                      IMG_0263

Lunch at Jam & Cream. We ordered the Pinwheel Sandwich – they actually tasted very nice. I would re-order this.                            IMG_0267

Soup of the day – Pumpkin Soup – super nice! Love of the day! IMG_0269

And we got 2 sweet scones.                             IMG_0271

It was a vintage cafe shop.                 IMG_0274

Quote of the Day:

If you want your children to turn out well, spend twice as much time with them, and half as much money.

Twenty & Six Espresso II

Morning, heading to our breakfast place – Twenty & Six Espresso.IMG_0240

IMG_0252

Confit field mushroom omelette w/ blue cheese, caramelised onion, basil & garlic toast $17.00AUD.                                             IMG_0254

Panko crumbed fish fillet burger w/ celery & cabbage slaw, green chilli and lime aioli & pickled red onions $15.00AUD         IMG_0256

I liked everything about the mushroom omelette, EXCEPT, they put too much blue cheese. It totally took over the taste of mushroom, eggs and everything else. *Sad* IMG_0255

Quote of the Day:

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
