Around 2am in the morning, contraction came every 2 minutes and each lasted for 40-60 seconds a.k.a the active labour stage. I went to the hospital and the midwife said my cervix was 5cm dilated.
For pain relief, I used the TENS machine both at home and during labour, asked for the gas as the pain intensified, but to be honest, the gas was not helpful at all. 1.5 hours before the pushing and delivery, I asked for morphine which the midwife said it would last for 2-3 hours. I could still feel the contractions and when I needed to push I could focus and make it fast. The delivery was a fast one, 2 pushes and the baby was out.
From start to finish, the contractions lasted for 16-17 hours. And my water didn’t break, the midwife broke the water for me and baby’s head was right behind it.

Giving birth to a baby is easier than worrying about it.
